NIL Latest... and can a kicker make?

Now that the House vs. NCAA settlement has been approved, the picture is becoming clearer for college athletes, but far from "crystal clear" yet. Power 4 schools should see their bank accounts change by as early as July 1st. However, for back-damage payments to active players today, they will have to wait until a Title IX suit is ruled upon before they might collect some back-pay (guys like Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield and Zion Williamson). There are female athletes from the same time period wondering when their payday is coming.

Top P5 programs will likely be getting their players compensated in a range from $15,000 to $280,000 ($91,000 median) — with a few select athletes garnering over a million dollars to play college sports.

Don't be surprised to see college players paid directly by their schools this Fall.

SO WHAT ABOUT KICKERS? 🏈

A starting kicker at a Division I Power 4 program can expect to make anywhere from $10,000 to $75,000 per year in NIL compensation—with big variations depending on:

NOTE: There isn't a kicker in any of the Top NIL Valuations done (which typically run down to around $200,000/yr. A great kicker with a good social media following might be able to garner about $75,000. They just aren't looked upon like QB's and WR's.... but then, we already KNEW that. 🙃

ADD-ON: Many of you are familiar with Donald De La Haye (aka Deestroying on YouTube) who's currently income seems to be about $1.5 million. If you recall, Dee is the guy who helped bring about the NIL movement from his college career, as well as having close to 6,000,000 followers on YouTube. He's currently playing for the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL (his salary is $50,000). 😆
