I know first hand how the feeling of being overwhelmed can force a deterioration in your ability to make sound goal specific decisions, and I also know that for a lot of you this 30 day plan is a bit of a shock to the daily process you are accustomed to living in…So I wanna remind you if something that my father always told me whenever I felt like things were too much for me to handle.
Slow down…Take a breath….And take one bite at a time.
As the old adage goes, the best way to eat an entire elephant is one bite at a time. Meaning in the context of what we’re all going through in this 30 day process, you don’t focus or dwell on how you’re gonna make it 30 days without any hiccups. You focus squarely on the decision that’s right in front of your face. In the moment.
Ask yourself CONSTANTLY “ is the choice I’m making right now moving me closer to, or further away from my ultimate goals?”…
If you can just live in the moment and learn to make positive goal specific decisions, you will chip away at the tasks necessary to crush in order to accomplish what you want to accomplish.
So if any of you are feeling overwhelmed by this entire 30 day gauntlet, remember, it’s not 30 days…it’s just one decision…then another….then another.
