Top 3 “Longevity” Exercises…
Quick show of hands… How many of you have had your goals after hitting the magic 40 year mark shift more and more towards simply feeling better (less nagging pains) than simply “looking good naked”??? I’m all for looking the part, but the older I get the more I prioritize tasks that have more of an emphasis on quality of movement than just aesthetics. Anyways, here’s the video I posted over on YouTube today. If you’re looking for a little incite in the “aging with grace” department plus a killer workout, check it out!
Daily Fat-Loss Exercise
There’s one exercise I do every single day to help me burn fat, speed up recovery, and even boost mental clarity. It’s a non-negotiable…What is it? Walking! But it’s not just regular walking that I do. I like adding in some resistance with it to help speed up the results I get. Here is a video that highlights my favorite ways to do so.
“Eat Your Broccoli”
Everyone’s got that one exercise that they reluctantly do because even though it sucks it’s got THAT HIGH of a return on investment. I call this “eating your broccoli”… For me, that’s lunges. They suck to do… I always get sore as hell doing them. And they don’t even allow for a ln ego boost from doing them with a decent weight! But, because of how effective they are, I do them… What’s your “broccoli”???

Total Body vs. Bodypart Split
A lot of us here are faced with having to train in tight time windows. Whether that be because of kids, business, or whatever, it puts us in a situation where we have to make the decision to go DEEP or WIDE with whatever workout we do. In other words we can go DEEP into a single body part or single movement, doing just that for the 10-15 minutes that we have to train…Or we can go WIDE with a more well rounded total body approach. Me personally, I’m big on avoiding the creation of imbalances, so I always urge my clients who consistently face these time availability conundrums to go WIDE and train total body. Not only does it have the tendency to help you avoid creating muscle imbalances, but it also helps to make you move more synergistically given the nature of total body movements that I advocate for WITH these types of workouts. Here’s a great example of one that I just shared on YouTube.

@Zachary Faigen is the asymmetrical strength based on some type of limitation you’ve got on the weaker side?
