Eliminate “Burnout”…
We’re all meatheads here, but the truth is no matter how much we enjoy training, eventually we’re gonna have our peaks and valleys with the level of enthusiasm we have towards it. And if left unattended, this can eventually lead to a level of burnout that makes you fall out of love with training all together. My remedy for this is simple… Have some other hobbies in conjunction with lifting! For me it’s archery, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and competition barbecue. Some may argue that having multiple loves takes from the MAXIMUM you can get from one, but I find that being passionate about all of these hobbies keeps me from getting TOO hyper focused on one hobby (which makes those natural ebbs and flows of enthusiasm seem less extreme)… With that said, for the sake of getting to know more about you, what are some of the additional hobbies you’ve got?? Let me know in the comments or replying to this email…

@Gerald Balsam I'll keep that in mind, at the moment I'm still concentrating on form, still a beginner at KB, but appreciate any suggestions

The ONLY 8 Moves You Need…
I can’t stress to you enough the importance of simplifying your workouts by sticking to a balanced, intense, and constantly varying array of your fundamental movement patterns. I just posted a video on YouTube about how you can do this to help not just get better and faster results, but also help alleviate some of the stress you have about whether or not your workouts are WORTHY of results. Check it out here…

Very true, while complexes look great, I'm keeping my training minimalistic for a while - 2 handed swing, clean and press, snatches, goblet squats, 1 handed rows, floor presses, KB handle pushups, thats it, 20 min time limit and I'm done all with 1 KB
2 missing ingredients
Across the board, I’ve noticed two common fundamental flaws in most people’s training regiments. A lack of BALANCE and a lack of INTENSITY. Here’s how you can remedy each so that you get better and faster overall results in both the LOOKS and the PAIN FREE PERFORMANCE departments. Speaking of missing ingredients, where do you guys think your programs are lacking? Let me know how I can help!

@Zachary Faigen So when I was doing C&P and snatches I was bracing abs too late therefore arching my back and learnt too brace earlier preventing the arching and stabilising my body and allowing me more strength due to my body being stable

@Chandler Marchman Sure does, even though I have gained more strength through stability, I'm still resisting the urge to go heavier until I can lock in my technique solidly.
