Learning From a 4 Year Old
Watching my son learn how to read 📘 has been one of the most humbling things. He’s four, sounding out letters, piecing together words, celebrating the smallest wins. Reading is something we expect kids to learn. It’s built into the system.
Publishing isn’t.
Most adults were never taught how to publish a book. Some were never encouraged to write at all. Many second-guess themselves before they even get one sentence on the page. And that’s not a flaw — it’s a gap in education.
The difference between people who publish and people who don’t isn’t talent. It’s a choice. A choice to learn. A choice to invest in yourself. A choice to keep improving instead of staying stuck.
Just like reading, publishing is a skill. And skills can be learned at any age — if you’re willing to take action.
