Um...When Someone Hesitates… Stay Curious
Most people hear hesitation and assume it’s a no. But hesitation isn’t rejection. It’s an invitation to stay curious. Instead of pulling back, try leaning in with language that keeps the door open. “Before you make your mind up, what are you weighing the most?” “Help me understand what’s causing the pause.” “What would need to shift for this to feel like a smart yes for you?” Each question does 2 things: It lowers defenses and keeps you in the decision! The best communicators don’t fill the silence. They explore it. How do you handle hesitation in a conversation? Share your favorite line or approach below.

Um...When Someone Hesitates… Stay Curious
💓 The Line That Keeps Deals Alive
Most people kill momentum with one question: “Do you want to keep going with this?” It drops your client into decision mode, and the deal stalls. Try this instead: “When would be a good time to pick this back up?” That line assumes progress. No pressure. No push. Just movement. Add this for extra magic: “When we regroup next week, what would you need from me to feel confident moving forward?” Give it a whirl - and share what happens!

💭 Thanksgiving-Season Reminder: Gratitude Is a Neurological Interrupt
Here’s a Thanksgiving reminder that has nothing to do with manners. Gratitude is a neurological interrupt. The second you sincerely thank someone for something real, their body drops tension—and you get a different version of them. Before the ask, try: 🗣 “Thank you for always taking my calls, even when you’re not ready to decide yet.” or 🗣 “I appreciate that you’re careful with decisions… that tells me you care about getting it right.” Watch the energy shift. Watch the magic happen. ✨ Gratitude changes chemistry, not just conversation. What’s one line of appreciation you could use today, personally or professionally? Drop it below 👇
