A gig you will always remember and why?
One of the gigs I will always remember was actually a small jazz club in Paris with the amazing Sebastien Giniaux and Matheau Chatelain.
Iv always been a fan of Sebs, ever since I first heard him play on YT and at Samois Festival.
It was great to play with such a legend of that music in such a relaxed and chilled setting.
People outside of music often expect that we are a little more aspirational with the size of gigs we want to play.
As jazz musicians, it’s often the case that we are happiest in a small room with an audience that’s interested. It’s my happy place!
How about you?
