I'm feeling pretty good where I'm at today, tomorrow might be a different story. That's kind of the thing when it comes to creative outlets, ya know? Some days I feel like I can just fly all over without thinking about it, and others, man, I struggle to play a clean major scale.
I think the main things to remember as we get to grips with our instrument, are...
- That we are only human and mistakes are bound to happen
- There's always going to be good days and bad days.
We are always going to be our own worst critic and we are always going to be aware of every mistake and imperfection in our playing. It's important to be able to let that roll off our backs and not let it bring us down. Keep going on the bad days because better days are always ahead.
So where are you at today with your guitar? A good day or a lousy one?
What's holding you back and if you could change one thing today about your playing, what would that be?
Lemme know,
You've got this.
