This weeks chord progression has a pretty chill vibe. It consists of three chords, that, while they sound complicated, they are only so in name. You'll need a Dmaj7sus2, a Cmaj7sus2, and finally an Amaj7sus2. I'll show you in the video how to play them so don't stress. Since these chords are located right on top of their respective scales, you'll have a lot of room for accents over them.
If you choose to play some lead over these, you'll want A Major over the Dmaj7sus2 and the Amaj7sus2. Over the Cmaj7sus2 you're going to want to swap to A Dorian/Minor Pentatonic. Yup, there's modal interchange in here! I can't help it, it just sounds so good!
Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend! Next week is Mike's turn!
