Let me tell you a story.
Back whenever I was younger I used to change myself for hours.
If someone had said to me, "Oh Calvin, that shirt you're wearing looks a bit cringe," I would have gone home that day, overthought, and then would have gone to JD Sports or whatever and got a new T-shirt just because of that one small thing.
I just want to say that's such a weak way to live.
Let me just tell you my lesson: whenever you change yourself for hours, you're just weakening yourself each time, becoming less authentic because you were genuinely happy the way you were.
If that was the case and it was working then you should just not fall to their influence.
I want to say, however, if you are getting advice, for example, from someone who's much more experienced in this area of life and you genuinely like this person and they're just trying to help you, then that's fine.
What I mean is the things, from people who you don't want to be like.
If people are saying to you, “Why are you focusing on this business? Why don’t you just go to college or something?" if you were happy the way you were and things are working, don't change yourself to those people.
You don't even want to be like that anyway.
I just wanted to share my lesson as this will lead you to the most regulated and happy place in your life.
Just keep this little brief reminder in mind to not change yourself and to only listen to people who have achieved what you want and who genuinely think the advice is beneficial.
