Handling multiple physical locations and multiple calendars
I'm trying to get my head around this topic and managed to stump the implementation specialist from GHL. My buisness is a mens health clinic. We currently have one location and so booking appointments is easy, we have optimized landing pages which have just the availability for that specific appt type at that location loaded, so the first thing peolpe do is pick their time, and then complete the booking form. The availble time is based on what is left on staff time on the calendar, so we don't get overbooked.
Discussing how to add a second location elegantly, and my view is that I should be able to have the client pick which location from the multiple locations we have, and then load the appointment availability for that location, and then continue on from there to filling out the form and booking. The only solution the GHL rep gave me was to select which location AFTER you've picked a time, which is not practical as each location will have subjective availabiliy based on the staff's schedule and existing appointments.
One way is building a pre-screen with location selection and pushing through to two different calendars, and having sub-accounts for each of the locations so the availability is unique to each location. That is fine in principle, but i'm trying to figure out if there is an elegant (in-platform) way of showing the list of locations where pople could pick from before getting the available times, versus custom coding and the linking through to each calendar from the custom list.
Any ideas?
