Tonight, Xavier had Cambridge United training, and injured his finger in the first 15 minutes. He then proceeded to play outpitch and I took him to A&E after (assuming it was nothing as he gets highly anxious about every knock and bump) it turns out he has broken the bone at the base of his middle finger and looking at least 3 weeks recovery. We have had anger, tears, more anger and more tears, whilst he is trying to process it all, he has told me he is strapping it on Sundays and playing anyway, I've told him he is not. It is going to be a rough few weeks 😪 Kirsty
