SUCCESS Sunday - What Was Your Win This Week?
Each week, I invite you to share your biggest win. This isn't about the scoreline, but rather what aspects of your goalkeeping you improved or what new product you got to enhance your game. Additionally, can you name three things you are grateful for? These don't have to be goalkeeper-related. The reason I do this is simple: everyone has tough weeks. Reflecting on and writing down your recent wins and what you're grateful for is a PROVEN way to realise that life is pretty great and you're a very lucky person. To get you started, here’s my win and what I'm thankful for this week: MY WIN: Getting over 7900 members and growing in this community, WHAT I AM GRATEFUL FOR: 1. Finally getting the free course live for you guys. 2. The amazing weather we have been having. 3. Adding another 9 goalkeepers to the J4K goalkeeper glove sponsorship program. Share your win below and what you’re grateful for. Let's keep INSPIRING each other - Comment below, whats your wins.👇👇👇 And Remember, you are ALOT better off than what you may think ❤️ Ray

U23 league
I hope everyone is well & enjoying their games. Yesterday Guernsey FC’s first ever U23 team travelled to Ringmer FC for their first game in the U23 league. I was extremely lucky to be selected with the No.1 shirt. Left Guernsey at 2.40pm, KO was 7.45pm. We won 8-0….fab game showed on You Tube so family & supporters could watch from home. Back to the hotel for just after 11pm, up for our flight home at 8.35am. Fingers crossed I’m selected for next weeks game. I loved every minute of it!

Quality and contrats @Regan Penney - also looking to run a goalkeeper event in Guernsey in the very near future,
HELP!
Not a complaint at all because they do the job when needed, but how do I stop this happening to Jaspers gloves? I don’t think Jasp is that extreme in goal that he’s doing something, or maybe he is, but every pair of gloves seem to go the same way- peeling from the bottom or holes in the middle. I’m cleaning and looking after according to all the instructions- please HELP, I'm loosing sleep over glove care! 😆😫

great advice, guys, but i think a goalkeeper should always push up from their hands - yes the gloves will 1000% wear away faster, but i think its safer way to get up for a goalkeeper - and much quicker....also do you keep the gloves damp - this is sooo important @Emma Davies - c
New and old.
It's so great to see so many new members and more people interacting on this group. But it's also made me notice those that no longer come on and interact with the group. I guess things change and people have their own things going on in life.

I always say to my students, when you go for trials aged 8 to say 14 years old, there is tons of keepers there on trial, all dreaming of becoming Pro - but when you get 15 / 16 plus @Riley Reynolds these same trials will now only have a handful of goalkeepers on trial - reason being - most have sadly given up on their dreams. This is why i say to my students, the longer you chase your dreams, okay the talent gets better, but competition drops dramatically ... because most keepers will not put in the effort and go that extra mile, they sadly give up... So just by staying in the race for the long haul can strengthen your chases of getting that contract Riley. Its the same sadly with people who join the community, most sadly just give up. So make sure your chasing your dream for the long haul my friend.
