Trial

So next season my team is merging with another team and some other adults and are hopefully going to be joining a women’s league, so 16+. Since it would be our first season we will be in division 4. I want to keep my options open and find the best possible pathway for me so yesterday I emailed a local teams manager asking for a trial, they play in the same league that my current team will be joining but in division one. He responded quite fast and I have been asked to come along to tomorrows training session 😃 The goalkeeper coach for my current team is leaving as his daughter is changing teams and he told me that whatever I decide to do next season, make sure I’m the only keeper at the club. I don’t know if this will be the case or not with the trial club but I guess I will find out tomorrow, either way it will be good experience and it will get me on the coaches radars, granted I play well of course. I believe they have a goalkeeper coach aswell which is good! I’m not necessarily going to leave my current club, just exploring options to give myself the best possible opportunity to achieve my dreams. Wish me luck!
