A long day yesterday left the house at 7 am and got home at 7pm.

We came runners up.

We topped our group not losing a game and only conceded 1 goal which was a free kick I tipped on to the bar which bounced down hit me in the back and went in 🤦🏻‍♂️

I made some outstanding instinct saves and multiple 1 Vs 1 saves ensuring we gained as many points as we did.

Semi final saw us play a team we had lost in last season's cup.

We won. 3-1 and progressed to the final. The goal was a top corner shot which we didn't close down as a team.

Unfortunately we fell short in the final where we gifted the other team 2 gifts with errors from the outfield players. When they went up early we were out of it as they hadn't conceded a goal all day.

Overall pleased with my performance especially when it was my first games after injury.

Looking forward to the season ahead
