We were at the Rams Cup tournament today and over all we came.... 2nd🥈in an ACADEMY TOURNAMENT! Fred did some amazing saves and stayed switched on for the whole 90 minutes, even when he didnt have much to do. 4 clean sheets 4 wins 1 Draw 1 loss Could not be more proud of Fred and the boys today.

After losing in the semi finals at our last few tournaments, Margot’s team saw competition success at Abbey Meads tournament in Swindon, England, and a massive moment for goalkeeper appreciation after Margot both scored her penalty during the semi final shootout, and saved the penalty to send them in to the final, eventually winning 2-1 in the final - only conceding 1 goal in 8 games. So much great positive feedback and celebration for her. Being a goalkeeper can be a lonely position but very much felt the love this weekend with all the compliments and celebrations with our team.

So played a casual session match at Leek Town F.C. F.Ball Community stadium as part of the A.C.E. (Active Community Engagement) Programme and my team won 6-1. Very nearly got a clean sheet however I picked up a calf injury in the first half doing a forward parry dive to prevent a 1v1 situation and put enormous force on my left calf so I'm out til next week, and I could swear the other team's loan goal was offside but that's upto the conspiracy theorists as we don't typically play with a ref or officials! Also I was thinking of getting one of those A.I. tracking cameras to film some of my casual sessions as a goalkeeper, not just to post on social media but to help me examine my techniques and how I could improve. Apologies also for being so quiet on here, just don't use this too often nonetheless I have been focusing on my goalkeeping so don't think I've quit the fold!
