Saturday Sunday games!

Well after last Saturdays school game what a difference a week makes the defence was there nearly every time they were tracking back Zack still had some 1-1s great saves it ended up 18-2 crazy score! one of the coaches are leaving so I’ve been asked to step in but will have to wait for the PVG for the school

Club game Sunday this was a really hard game Zacks defence went missing on 2 occasions Zack had 3 players heading to him he had no chance tried to close down but they went up 1-0 they fought back and made it 1-1 second half more or less the same both teams cancelling each other out in midfield then 1 of the defenders got caught out with the bounce striker ran on took a shot Zack saved but the rebound came off the post back to the striker 2-1 last 5min there goalkeeper made a save but didn’t push it away and it was like in slow motion it just came off the post and trickled in 2-2 last seconds of the game Zack pulled off a brilliant save heading for the top corner to be honest I thought he will not reach it how wrong was I last minute save for a draw the manager was going to give Zack MOTM again this would of been 3 weeks in a row but I felt there might be some of the parents thinking as I am his coach there might be a bit of favouring Zack so I said to Zack about my thoughts and he said yeah I understand so I asked him who he thought and he said give it to James so I told the manager and we agreed to do that myself the manager and the other coach very proud of Zack for understanding 🧤
