We had 4 grading games to see what league we would be playing in? And just our luck we were put against teams from 2 divisions up lost 3 of the 4 which wasn’t any surprise so we have our final game today Zack has been playing with a foot injury on his kicking foot and an other injury on his standing foot but still wanted to play in all of the last games he was also made Captain for our last game as he is the only one that does all the shouting 😂 so we will be playing in group D of the 4 league setup we have been struggling to get players for the games due to school trips school leavers party’s so today our last one we have nearly everyone available apart from 2 so I’m hoping they have a better game today with a stronger squad! We are on a break from today for a month so I’ll probably be off here for a while! On another note we decided that they all deserved something from the 9s so we got them all a medal to remember there time at 9s there was big smiles when they got a medal each! All the best to all the qualifiers for the World Cup

Zack’s 3rd last school game on Saturday past was a really good game apart from 1 incident Zack was on a 1v1 slid got the ball first but the opposition player went head over heals and they were awarded a penalty! Which I can’t understand for the life of me? But what I have found out is the opposition coach told Zack that they don’t do that here? Which I’m a bit &£&&£@ off about as this is what keepers do it’s their job? So on to the penalty boy kicks ball to the top left Zack tips it over the bar then he decided to make a sliding tackle against no one and throws his arms in the air all his team m8s ran to him doing the same thing ⚽️to be honest at the time I just burst out laughing and omg the looks I was getting 👀👀 was priceless after the game which they won 6-1 Zack just smiled and said game over “ what a lad “ 🧤

OMG level 9 is so near now. Finley has set me a challenge to get to level 9 before the summer holidays! Got about 6 weeks to go!

Anyone got any tips or links to videos that can help train an 8yr old to get up off the floor faster? Any help with technique would be appreciated.
