anybody know what i can do with my achilles it has been hurting for a while and it’s abit swollen and hurts to kick and strike the ball also hurts to run and i have a tournament on sunday would i be able to play ?

Well this was a hard fought fight from defence to striker they were a very aggressive team and a few tackles that were a bit over the top! both teams defence were strong Zack had a very quiet game as the defence was on top of everything that came at them! We managed to break away only twice in the first half but managed to score on both occasions brilliant build up! Second half was really hard for both teams as the wind got up and of course the rain appeared we got one chance and what a goal it was from our winger Bailey took on a shot from the wing couple of yards outside the 18yard box right over the keeper into the corner very impressive to see! So they ended up winning 3-0 but was a very hard game but came out on top and everyone got MOTH because of the 💯 effort they all put in. ⚽️⚽️⚽️🧤

Unfortunately, it didn't get any easier for Max today. Another loss in his first game 2-0 due to a mistake that cost him the goal and unfortunately found it difficult to move on. After coming over ahead of the second match, I told him to let it all out, get it off his chest, take a deep breath, reset because you can't change what's happened, but you can change what happens in the next match. It was refreshing to see he had learnt from his mistake by getting his body behind/over the ball, pulled off 2 great saves by pushing them onto the cross bar one after another, a really brave 1v1 taking a blow to the shoulder from the players head and some really great saves. Unfortunately it ended 1-1 but would have been a lot more without him. He even got praise from the opposition parents who couldn't believe he was playing up a year complimenting him on how well he did. It's so tough being the parent of a young goalkeeper watching them beat themselves up when a mistake is made, but I honestly couldn't have been any prouder of how well Max handled it in the end and didn't let it influence his next game. Here's hoping luck is more on his side after the easter break as he just hasn't had it plain sailing just lately the poor kid. 🧤❤️

Unfortunately lost today despite a late push and fight back with this goal. Team worked hard and showed improvement all over the pitch

Edit: i forgot to mention my mum ran the line today to as we only had 2 coaches instead of 3 and no-one else would run it. Today I was back in my very first J4K Glove style the Ice XTN and they are still a great choice. Sadly we lost today.
