One for the parents.
I thought I'd ask any parents here, who may recognise this & have an opinion.
I'm the parent of two good-level GK's.
TBH, they're both mucho above average & play for a grassroots team + are at
a major name club.
This is my reason for posting.
I have found they are both exceptional at their academy, but
when it comes to grassroots - because the players there are more general & lads out to play at weekends - its hard to move up & then down, as it were.
Grassroots is fun & good focus/exercise etc, but as you know, academy soccer is very different.
Does anyone have kids at both?
