I just wanted to share something really important — if you’re serious about developing as a goalkeeper, you’ve got to improve your goal kicks. It’s not optional anymore. Every team, at every level, wants a keeper who can strike the ball well.
If you’ve got dreams of getting into an academy or moving up the levels, your kicking has to be consistent, accurate, and powerful. It’s a huge part of the modern game, and I see far too many talented keepers held back simply because of their distribution.
That’s actually why I designed the J4K Goalkick Returner — not as a product to sell, but as a training tool to genuinely help my students get more reps in.
Instead of kicking a ball and having to chase it down every time (or having your parents get fed up running after it 😅), the ball comes straight back thanks to a 15ft elastic cord. It lets you get 3–5 times more practice in each session, especially when training alone.
Even if you don’t use this specific tool, please make sure you’re putting time into your kicking every week. It’s one of the biggest factors that separates average keepers from great ones.
Keep working hard,Ray ⚽🧤
I’ve put together a quick video showing how it works — have a watch here:
