Hi guys, im the head GK coach at Leiston F.C looking after the development frameworks for 14 goalkeepers from u13s in the eja to the 1st team in yhe southern Premier league (step 3 national league). I hold an ISSPF professional masters in youth and adult goalkeeping science and a qualified scout with the PFSA. My playing history started at Ipswich town academy, Kingstonians fc and woodbridge town. Unfortunately plagued with injuries so have been coaching now for 10 years.

I got into coaching because watching youth football i quickly realised that the experience in training and matchdays is geared up for outfield development and the role of the goalkeeper is left untrained but the expectation on them is play as well as the trained outfield. Ive worked with local grass roots clubs in suffolk to change this and teach them how to develop gk"s within sessions and on matchdays
