I've been/am an avid gym goer since 2003. I hardly miss a week but over the years I've started to enjoy other activities beyond strength training.
In 2025 I ran a half marathon. I started messing around playing golf 🏌️♀️ and recently I've started swimming each day. I'm no Michael Phelps and it's all breast stroke but I'm loving it and it's making feel alive.
Today I took a break from gym and did a few laps of the pool instead. Any purposeful movement is exercise.
