Morning Walk
Morning walks are low hanging fruit, for getting movement in. I have three little dogs and they need constant walking, so my mornings are guaranteed to have some activity. If you can find little "movement snacks" (bite sized pieces of exercise) like these throughout the day, they quickly add up to a reasonable amount of activity, without even noticing. Just start where you are and do what you can!!

I've been/am an avid gym goer since 2003. I hardly miss a week but over the years I've started to enjoy other activities beyond strength training. In 2025 I ran a half marathon. I started messing around playing golf 🏌️‍♀️ and recently I've started swimming each day. I'm no Michael Phelps and it's all breast stroke but I'm loving it and it's making feel alive. Today I took a break from gym and did a few laps of the pool instead. Any purposeful movement is exercise. What are some of your favourite forms of activity each day?

@Roar Resell I tend to do both, each day. I usually start off in the pool. My wife and I trying to get at least 700m each day and slowly increasing the distance. I then go into the sea/lagoon and just swim around. It's been so much fun because my wife hates most forms of exercise but swimming is fun for her, so we get to do it together. As you know Dog walking is also my favourite 😁. How are you finding the kettlebell work?

@Trish Berrange great to have you hear my friend. We are here to do just that, help each other get back on and stay on track. I'll put out a poll this week, to try figure out where most of us are, in terms of equipment, space and time availability then I'll put together a few programs for us to start with.
