Experimenting today with phone footage
Today I experimented a bit with all the phone footage I’ve collected over time 📱✨ Instead of letting it sit unused, I started putting it into a format that actually uses it — almost like a visual diary. Think of a simple time code that captures the date, time, maybe even the location, and turns those little moments into something you can truly experience again. I’ll be uploading some of these experiments to Instagram and YouTube soon 🎬 And honestly… it’s such a beautiful way to revisit moments you might otherwise forget. A personal archive of memories, ideas, and inspiration. But it also made me think: What’s already on your phone? 👀 How could you use the footage you already HAVE to create your own archive? Documenting your journey like this can: ✨ show your process ✨ build trust and visibility ✨ create impact for your projects ✨ and remind you how far you’ve come All while having fun and capturing the moments that matter along the way. Your best content might already be sitting in your camera roll. 🎥💭

Blizzard filming tonight.
In Michigan, USA, we’re to get up to ten inches of snow overnight. Big winds. 35-30 miles per hour. I’m not sure what that is in metric system. I’m hoping to go out with my camera to film some footage around my little town. I have my nicer camera and my iPhone 17 camera. Hopefully I can get some good shots and be able to put together a minute or so of something worthwhile. Any thoughts or ideas? I love taking videos against the street lights in the storms we get here.

Camera movement module questions
Hello @Eric Young I saw your module about camera movements and tripods. Really insightful. I have a few questions: 1. The trucking left and right looks quite similar if not the same as panning left and panning right. What are the differences between a trucking camera movements vs the panning ones? 2. And when doing a shot, can one do more than 1 shot size in one shot? And if yes or no, why and how? And is that also the same with camera framing and angles? 3. And am I correct in assuming layering a shot is combining camera framing, shot sizes, movements and angles to create an aesthetically pleasing and/or powerful shot? @Jonas Marcel and anyone else with insights into this can also please chime in
