Hey guys, I'm currently creating my first ad for a cervical massager (dropshipping product). I looked into my competition and found a guy who's dropshipping the same item. In his ads he uses medical claims like "I had vertigo for 2 years, constant dizziness... the first night I used it, that constant pressure at the base of my skull was so much lighter" and "after 3 days my husband said 'you haven't mentioned being dizzy once today'... the tingling in my arms returned when I stopped using it, then I woke up steady again." The whole ad is a first-person testimonial claiming the device cured chronic dizziness and vertigo, with a day-by-day results timeline. ChatGPT told me I can't use claims like these because my Meta ads account might get banned. The thing is, he uses AI to create his ads (it's not a real person speaking, it's an AI-generated voice and avatar), and I was thinking of doing the same by following his script. What are your thoughts on this? Is there a real risk of getting banned for false medical claims? And does the fact that it's an AI-generated testimonial (a person who doesn't actually exist) make it worse from a compliance standpoint?
