We discussed using LinkedIn for reaching out to potential prospects in today’s clinic and among other things I shared a personalised message I’m currently using (and getting a very good response to) with my prospects. Here it is below: Hi Giles, If you’re actively looking to (potential problem to solve or benefit to get) just click to connect and I’ll send you a solution (or a link to connect for a short no obligation call). Regards, Sean Always 1. Be absolutely crystal about the kind of client you’re reaching out to and make sure the pain point or solution is uber valuable to them and 2. Always use the Personalise Your Invite option to send the connection message. Keeping it really short is important (limited attention) and asking ‘if they are actively looking to’ weeds out the tyre kickers and ensures that only those who do connect have a potential interest in your offer.
