JV Request Battleship
Three days ago, posted a JV request in this group. She wrote:

I’m just starting out with my email list—no audience yet—and I started to use daily email prompts to write for LinkedIn or build up my "writing bank." That said, I’m looking for someone who might be interested in sharing my self-development workbook (I’m a coach) with their list in exchange for a percentage of the sales. Please send me a message if this makes sense to you. Thank you!

I DMed Vanja yesterday to ask if anybody had taken her up on her request.
They had not.
I asked Vanja if she would be ok with a public analysis of her post... to figure out what might have gone wrong... and how to do better in the future, both for herself and for the rest of the group.
She said she's fine with that.
So, what are some things Vanja could have done to get a better response with her JV request?
I sat down and made a list of 12 ideas.
Make your own list. And then let's play a game of battleship.
Put one thing from your list down in the comments below.
If I have the same on my list, I'll tell you my version of it.
If I don't have the same, I'll share one that hasn't been posted yet.
After all 12 of my ideas have been sunk, I've lost, but maybe we've all won, by coming up with a process for more effective JV requests.
And if all my battleships are sunk, I'll also share something I've written in the past, which is relevant to this post, which I personally found super interesting, but which seems to have gone under the radar (my fault).
So are you game to play? It's your turn.
