Hello there!

Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan and I am 56 from Canada. I have not begun my YouTube channel yet other than to share some videos I've taken while traveling.

My channel WILL be mainly a talking head travel channel directed at people over 40 who have rarely, or have never traveled.

I say my channel will be mainly a talking head channel and that's for 2 reasons.

1. Personally when I travel I like to be in the moment and I encourage others to do the same. When you're always trying to get the best photos or be in the best spots to take a great video you tend to miss out on a lot of great experiences you might have by talking to a local, or witnessing the nuances of each place.

There's a million and one other channels that are travel eye candy and while I can appreciate that my channel will be about telling stories, encouraging people to get out of their comfort zones, as well as practical and helpful tips for those over 40 who want to travel.

2. Because of the way I travel I don't have a lot of photos/videos that would 'show off' the locations I've been. I will sometimes share some accommodations or sites I've been as part of a video but that will be more of a sidebar.
