About your ideal customer avatar Blue-Print
So in the Copywriting Startkit, Alicia mentioned (and I actually knew this before too ) that you have to do your Avatar Blueprint before writing any copy.
But does that apply to everything? Like, even when you’re just practicing and don’t have clients yet?
I get why it’s crucial when writing for a client you need to know their audience inside out. But when I’m practicing, I usually keep it simple: what the product/service is, what problem it solves, the person’s age, and their main struggle.
It’s nowhere near Alicia’s full 11-step blueprint though. So now I’m wondering do I really need to go through all 11 steps for every single practice piece?
Also, for the pros here do you still do full avatar research before every copy, or does it become second nature after a while? Like does take you less time to do it than when you started .
P.S. I made a doc table for the 11 steps if anyone wants it 👀
