I don’t know about you, but keeping track of CTA links for social media posts is a pain.
You know, when you’re linking back to a podcast or YouTube video on a social media post.
It’s easy on a small scale, but once you’re posting a lot across social media it can become quite difficult.
Event promotion makes it even more difficult.
You have registration links or subscribe links BEFORE the event, like “register for this upcoming webinar”. And then a direct link to the recorded event—AFTER the event.
Or you might promote an upcoming podcast, with a link to the podcast directly asking them to subscribe.
And after the podcast, when you’re distributing social clips you might link back to the specific episode.
So you’re tracking CTA before, and after, and making sure each social post gets the right one.
Plus, if you’re using an auto poster like Buffer or Hootsuite, you can’t often make a comment on your post linking back.
LinkedIn has traditionally been hard to auto-post comments too.
This has been one of the harder problems to tackle in my automated systems, so I put together a quick video on how it works.
This one is pretty technical, just a warning!
