Different color scheme for unread messages for the visually impaired (and aging eyes)

This may just be me, as I have crappy eyes, diabetic retinopathy etc, so take it for what it's worth.

But, as I scan the home page in the feeds, my eyes can barley distinguish from posts I have read vs posts I have yet to look at. The dark grey/light grey is just a tad too similar.

Is there a a. better way to call out unread posts, perhaps with a little red dot in front of the title, or changing the color scheme enough to better distinguish read from unread?

I see this happening in other areas around the app too, especially the reply indicator.
