My lowest point in my health journey
It was March of 2025 and my husband was tearing out the tile shower in the basement. We had contained correctly, but didn’t realize that the bathroom vent above the shower actually was venting to our kitchen and not outside!
I was feeling horrible emotionally and wanted to just leave- my family, my house. I wanted to run away, but I kept saying no to myself. That’s when the suicidal thoughts crept in. I knew that wasn’t who I was or what I truly believed. When I noticed dust everywhere in the kitchen, I realized what was going on. We got the house aired out and my husband finished getting the shower out that night. That was my deepest point and I’ve been getting better since then.
What has been your hardest moment in your health journey? What did you learn or how did you move out of that moment?
