Rubber & Glass Ball Theory
I was stopped in my tracks. So I recently came across a little different perspective, called the rubber ball and glass ball theory. Everyday we are juggling so much. Work. House. Messages. Commitments. Expectations. Family. The list just goes on…and on. It can feel relentless and repetitive. Here’s the perspective that stopped me in my tracks, not every ball were holding is the same. Some are rubber. They can drop. The missed workout. The unanswered email. The laundry that waits. The plans you keep rescheduling. They bounce. They recover. They’re forgiving. But some are glass. And those are sacred. The bedtime chats. The slow mornings. The laughter around the dinner table. The quiet moments with your significant other or a pet. The ordinary days that don’t look big at the time, but one day you realize was everything. Glass doesn’t bounce, it breaks. I’m learning that success isn’t about keeping every ball in the air perfectly. It’s about knowing which ones you can let fall and which ones you need to protect. Because in the end, it won’t be the perfectly managed schedule that defines our life. It’ll be the moments we chose to guard. Guard the glass. Let the rubber bounce. If you are juggling alot right now, just remember it’ll be ok you will get through this, I know you are strong! Take a slow deep breath and let it out softly then tell yourself β€œI will be ok, I can do this”πŸ’ͺ🏼

@Coleen Huebert that’s a good idea! I believe in each persons situation sometimes we get lost in taking care of ourselves that we forget about the glass balls, we can begin to focus solely on the rubber ones.

🌿 Big news, Clear Mind Revival community!
I've been quietly building something I'm so excited to finally share with you. Over the next 12 months, I'm hosting a workshop series designed specifically for people healing from mold illness β€” and it starts THIS month. Specifically June 23 at 7pm CST Every workshop combines what I've learned through years of naturopathic training, trauma work, nervous system regulation, and my own personal healing journey. Because I truly believe that healing mold isn't just about detox protocols β€” it's about calming the fear, reclaiming your identity, and learning to trust your body again. ✨ Here's how the year is structured: We rotate through three healing tracks each month: πŸŒ€ Nervous System Regulation β€” because a dysregulated nervous system keeps you stuck in fight-or-flight and slows every healing pathway 🌿 Detox & Physical Support β€” practical, gentle guidance on drainage, hormones, metabolism, and more πŸ’› Identity, Emotions & Boundaries β€” the inner work that makes the outer work actually stick Here's a peek at the full year: Month 1 ✨ From Overwhelm to Peace (Anchor Launch) Month 2 🌿 The Drainage Funnel: Open Your Pathways First Month 3 πŸ’› Who Am I Outside of My Illness? Month 4 πŸŒ€ Fear to Safety: Rewiring Your Threat Response Month 5 🌿 Insulin & Leptin Resistance in Mold Illness Month 6 πŸ’› Shame, Symptoms & Self-Compassion Month 7 πŸŒ€ Somatic Release: Trauma Stored in the Body Month 8 πŸŒ€ Sleep & the Mold-Exhausted Body Month 9 🌿 Skin as a Messenger: Rashes, Infection & Toxic Load Month 10 πŸ’› Setting Boundaries While Healing Month 11 πŸŒ€ Polyvagal Theory Made Simple Month 12 🌿 Hormones, Mold & Your Cycle We kick off with From Overwhelm to Peace β€” breathwork, prayer, journaling, and an embodied gratitude practice. If mold has stolen your sense of calm and safety, this is exactly where we start. This workshop series is included in the paid membership β€” and right now is the perfect time to join before we begin. It's only $9 until the end of the day June 5th and then the price will go up! This gives you access to the replays, challenges and prizes.

πŸ’¦The importance of drinking water! πŸ’¦
Water is one of your best friends when it comes to chronic illness. It lubricates joints, supports brain function and flushes toxins. I suggest people have a goal of half their body weight in ounces of water. So if you weigh 140 pounds, then drink 70 ounces of water per day. This can be really hard for people! I like to add flavored electrolytes and just always keep water with me to sip on throughout the day. It’s better to sip than to guzzle it all at the end of the day. What do you do that helps you drink more water?

Electrolyte powder added to water; and I keep my bottles out in the open so I can see them and it reminds me to drink water.

Breakfast!
It’s a super important meal to get your day started- to literally break your fast. We need energy for our muscles and brains to get going. I prefer to start with protein so I had 2 eggs and 2 strawberries. What did you eat for breakfast today? Let’s share ideas!

Laughter is the best medicine!
What’s one thing that helps you to laugh? Is it your kids or a certain comedian? A pet? Many people who struggle with mold struggle to feel joy and laughter can bring us up out of the frustration and gloom we tend to find ourselves in. Comment below pictures or links to a comedian that help you.

For me, watching the kitties play and bounce around when they are feeling spunky is hilarious! One occasion I remember is Roxy πŸ• was watching me and little did she know Ginger 🐈 was behind her trying to attack her wagging tail! Finally Ginger got the opportunity to pounce and it scared Roxy πŸ• so much; I about fell over just giggling!
