Your members don't actively participate because...
- They don't feel seen or heard
- There is no (not enough) reason for them to engage
- You are not showing them how to participate
- You are talking to them instead of with them
- The space feels inactive so members choose to be passive
If you want your members to become more (pro)active, you need to give them enough reason to.
With more structure and clarity, passive communities are turned into spaces that feel alive because people actually connect with each other because they care!
You want:
→ Current members to go from being passive → reactive (pro)active.
→ New members to skip being passive and reactive altogether!
