Would You Rather....

We had such an amazing call today in the PERSONALS.

Yes, it started off a bit awkward (and that was mostly my fault) but the ball got rolling and we were able to have a wonderful conversation about collaboration and engagement (3 members even stayed on the call for an hour after I had to leave - thank you

We do two calls a month - one is what I call and exchange of business cards where we introduce ourselves, what our groups do, and who they are for. It is recorded and the recording is shared with the group (just to be clear, there are no actual business cards...).

The other call is a version of what we did today where it is just a casual conversation about a topic of interest.

The "business card" exchange is earlier in the day and usually has 20+ people in attendance. The discussion is later in the day and usually has about a dozen people in attendance.

What I'm wondering is: is it the time of day that makes the difference or the type of call that makes the difference?

My kids are really into the "Would You Rather" game right now, so I thought we could play along too.
