What changes month to month inside my Skool (and why I design it this way)
One thing I do differently inside The Shine Lounge is that nothing is locked in months ahead.
Each 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩 changes monthly, and quite often I don’t finalise it until I’m already halfway through the current month. I pay close attention to the energy, conversations, and quiet signals I’m seeing from members, then curate what feels genuinely supportive 𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚗𝚘𝚠.
For example, December leaned heavily into movement and release.
It included a spinal release yoga session, a 10-minute low-impact, no-equipment workout (designed to be repeated as often as it felt good), five short “letting go” themed audio affirmations released weekly, plus a longer 15-minute visual storytelling meditation.
January, by contrast, needed something much softer.
So January’s Shine Drop introduced 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨, a simple dice-roll ritual I created to help members choose one gentle word a day. No big resolutions. Just one soft word at a time. That’s been surprisingly popular.
Alongside that, we added Ease Series mobile wallpapers with quiet reminders, and a guided body and mind relaxation to support a slower start to the year.
What I’ve learned is that members don’t want more content.
They want content that meets them where they are.
All of this lives inside Premium for $9/𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝, and that price point is very intentional. It keeps the barrier low and the pressure even lower.
If you’re a Skool owner experimenting with how much structure vs responsiveness your community really needs, this approach might resonate.
Happy to answer questions about how I curate month to month.
