#ThrowbackThursday
I started my business 3 years ago not here on Skool but using a Facebook group, a course hosting platform (that I can’t remember the name of never mind my log in details 😹) and a YouTube channel where I stored all the videos including this little nugget 👆
Back then I was focused on teaching business start ups the practical side of business basics, how to open a social media account and make posts, how to build an email list, automation of newsletter and funnels etc etc etc oh and one thing that I wish I had known better about “just say yes to the thing then work out how to do it” 🤦‍♀️ my aim was to hustle my ass like the other in my circle at that time, grind until you make enough to pay a team. Quantity over quality when it came to group members, it was all a numbers game “because only 1% will buy” or so I’d been taught 🙈
And then I had my breakdown. Not a “I’ve had enough of this” breakdown. A full mental health crisis can’t get out of bed should have been admitted to hospital but wasn’t kind of breakdown.
It completely changed my perspective of how I wanted to run my business, so I took some time out, worked on my offerings, made a plan, and now I’m back at it but in a whole new way, focused on keeping things simple, sustainable & aligned.
