Thanks for this opportunity so here goes!

I am John Lloyd-Hughes originally from the UK but now living in Southern Spain with my wife of 37 years and work wise 90% retired. We live with our rescue dog, Kastri, who we found on the Greek island of Crete 10 years ago. The picture attached was taken the day we found her. She was just 7 weeks old!

My background is in advertising and marketing and more recently, over the last decade, I have been involved in creating and hosting business networking and expo events to help business owners increase their visibility to generate new opportunties for their respective companies. I still travel back to the UK 3 or 4 times per year to host some events there.

I am an ex golfer, tennis and snooker player and next week am going to look at some padel tennis courts with a view to taking that up. I also bought my first motorbike 18 months ago and am loving the 2 wheels action. The climate where we live is amazing with very little traffic on the roads so much safer than the UK where I would never have even considered buying a motorbike.

As to why I am on Skool, I kept seeing the Skool ads on Facebook and started to think I could perhaps create some online networking events as it is something I really enjoy doing. Certainly my research into Skool has been validated and it has been a refreshing change from some other platforms I could mention! The rest is history and after only a few weeks I am an addicted Skooler!
