I’ve been thinking about how powerful it is to have simple rituals you can return to — the kind that don’t demand a perfect moment or an hour of your time.
Just everyday grounding that brings you back to yourself.
Here are five simple rituals you can do from your own space, no matter what season you’re in.
Use them. Adapt them. Let them meet you where you are.
1. The Two-Minute Grounding Ritual
Sit, place both feet on the ground, breathe slowly into the belly, and imagine your energy dropping back into your body. A quiet reset for noisy days.
2. The Smoke + Sound Reset
Light incense, sage, or even a candle. Then hum, chant, or use soft sound to shift the atmosphere. A beautiful blend of physical and energetic clearing.
3. The Single-Card Guidance Pull
One card only. Ask: “What energy do I need to hold today?” Let that message shape your day with intention.
4. The Water Blessing
Bless your morning water or tea with a single word: Peace. Strength. Clarity. Let that intention move through your body as you sip.
5. The Evening Unravelling
Before bed, place a hand on your heart and name one thing you’re releasing, one thing you’re grateful for, and one thing you’re calling in. A simple closing ritual before sleep.
