No self promotion, just sharing wins
At first I got a very big win by pure dumb luck. A high ticket client that googled a problem he was trying to solve, found my comment on Reddit, DMed me and hired me. Been with him for 2 months now.
Than, I decided to be a little more strategic. Didn't get a second high ticket client yet but I got:
- Around 5 new engaged members to my community.
- 1 software demo made and 2 more confirmed, with offers for great partnerships
- Great feedback on upcoming projects and ideas.
Reddit is an awesome place to meet new people if you look at the right places. There are some negatives, of course. Moderators there are more annoying than the ones at skoolers, you get downvoted for no reason at all, and there are lots of fishy people there.
But you can hook very good partnerships and clients there if you persist. Reddit is still the biggest community platform in the world and there is a niche for everything there. The small but active communities are the best ones in my opinion
