How to script your next short-form video
If you are hiring a video editor and they keep sending back edits that miss the mark, the issue may not be their skill (I can't say for sure ๐Ÿ˜…), but it may come down to your script formatting.
When I write a video script, I treat it like a blueprint.
I use distinct colors to separate the spoken word from the editing notes, on-screen text, and visual assets.
If a specific point needs a pop-up graphic, it gets highlighted right next to the spoken sentence.
This completely eliminates guesswork for your editing team and cuts revision times down to minutes.
