2023: the FBI documented 48 active shooter incidents with 244 total casualties (105 killed).
2023: 2,699 hate-crime incidents were reported as religion-based.
A major open-source tracking report documented 485 hostile incidents against churches in 2023 and 415 in 2024 (still dramatically higher than prior years).
