Most people think authority is something you perform. It isn't.
Authority is a structure — and if any part of it is broken, the whole thing leaks.
This is the Authority Triangle. Three layers. All working at the same time.
1. BEHAVIOUR — Internal Authority
This is the foundation. Without it, nothing else holds.
Confidence that doesn't need validation. Discipline that protects your future over your present comfort. Leadership that produces followers automatically — not because you demanded it, but because your behaviour earned it.
You can't fake this layer. People feel it.
2. EFFECT — External Authority (MACCI)
This is how others experience you.
How you move. How you present yourself. The confidence others receive from you — not what you think you're projecting. The connection you build. And your intent — the direction behind your presence.
People don't just see you. They feel where you're going. That's what creates permission.
3. HABITS — Off-Camera Authority (ETASF)
This is what most men completely ignore.
Your environment. How you use your time. How you maintain your appearance when no one is watching. The people you keep close. Your financial sovereignty.
What you do when no one is watching is your authority. It shows up whether you want it to or not.
The tripwires that destroy all three:
Over-explaining. Chasing status. Contradictory posture. Unstable tone. Hyperverbalising. Poor off-camera habits.
One leak is enough to collapse the triangle.
People grant you permission — to lead, to be trusted, to be followed — without you ever having to ask for it.
"Authority is not a social skill — it is a structure." Real authority does not need to be seen. Confidence does not need an audience. Authority is a frequency.
