Creating an Inclusive World – Small Actions Matter
Ever seen someone acting out in a supermarket or public space and felt unsure how to help? For people living with dementia (and other disabilities), moments of confusion or frustration happen, and often, it’s the way we approach them that makes all the difference.
Tip: Your body language can calm or escalate a situation. Try slow movements, gentle eye contact, open posture, and a warm tone, it helps someone feel seen, safe, and understood.
