Most of us wouldn't set out on a road trip without some sense of where we're headed. We'd check the route, think about what we'll need, and make a plan for the journey ahead.
As summer approaches, I've been wondering why we don't always do the same thing with a new season.
For some people, summer brings a slower pace. For others, it fills quickly with travel, family commitments, ministry opportunities, and projects.
Either way, the change in rhythm often reveals what has been true all along. It becomes easier to notice where we're grounded, where we're tired, and what has been shaping our lives beneath the surface.
I've been spending some time reflecting on the rhythms I want to carry into the months ahead.
Those reflections became Rhythms for the Road, a YouTube series for followers of Jesus who want to enter the summer with prayerful intention and stay connected to Him along the way. Join us live every Monday in June at 6:30 PM CT.
