Not to point fingers, but there are a number of you who are out there waiting for the "right time" to post something here.
Maybe you're not sure what to say. Maybe you don't feel like your community is ready to promote yet. Or maybe you just got distracted by all the other amazing groups on Skool... 😉
Whatever the reason, one of the biggest mistakes I see from community owners is not getting out there and making themselves known.
Here are the two things I hope you are not doing in the Classifieds if you are trying to build your community:
- Posting once or twice and then never again because you didn't get anyone to join your community. It takes time and consistency to get noticed and for people to remember you. You need to be posting daily. Do you know how many times I've wanted to refer someone to someone but I can't remember their name and then there's nothing in the community to remind me who they are?
2. Sitting back and not saying anything - just reading or not visiting at all because you are not ready yet. The time to start engaging is NOT when you are ready to launch your community - it is way before that. If you are not ready to post yet, start commenting on others posts. Get your name and photo recognized, build relationships, make connections so that when you are ready to launch, you are not starting from zero and people will recognize you.
So, take this as the (loving) kick in the pants to start engaging in whatever manner works for you!
