I was asked what I’m most looking forward to this week inside the community I run.
My answer surprised me.
“Maybe someone will show up to our Sister Circle tomorrow.”
And then I immediately said…
“I’m also a bit scared someone might show up… because then I’d actually have to talk.”
Which made us giggle a bit
But it’s also real.
Building a community is a strange mix of things.
Excitement. Hope. A little bit of fear.
And a lot of learning as you go.
We recently crossed the 100-member mark inside Empowered Spirit Tribe, and I keep hearing people say that the first 100 are the hardest part. So now I’m curious to see what happens next.
Tomorrow we’re hosting a Sister Circle conversation, which is simply a space for women to come together, talk honestly, and connect.
And honestly?
I’m excited to see who shows up.
If you’re someone who enjoys real conversations about life, spirituality, and the messy middle of growth, you’d probably enjoy the kind of discussions we’re having there.
But I’m also curious about something here
If you run a group, a business, or any kind of space for people…
Do you ever feel that mix of excitement and nervousness too?
Or is that just me?
