GPT Developer Event

Did anyone catch the Developer event the other day with GPT? They have some major updates and upgrades coming. I was reading the tea leaves last week. I mentioned that GPT's new "Vision" was taking a shot at about 3 paid programs I was using on a daily basis. I have now downgraded those because I can do what I need in my GPT and not have to switch programs. I am spending about 60% of my time in GPT and the more they integrate video, oh boy.

My question is, was GPT going to put many software companies out of business with these updates? It seems like that day has arrived. Is GPT playing the same game as Amazon (and others)? Use our platform to business your business and we'll find out what users buy and want and then we'll create services and undercut your pricing to offer it cheaper. All of these companies that are using their API give them data on what we want.

It will be interesting to see if many companies go away or if this inspires many many more to innovate. I am betting on innovation (fingers crossed). I just created a Chatbot in seconds using their Assistants platform and GTPs are coming where you can sell your own "plugin-like" software or make it available for free. Think Webstore for everything GPT.
