Thoughts on male-specific scents.

I was looking at some scents online and I noticed that some are branded for just men, while others are branded for men & women. For example: "40 knots by Xerjoff". I feel an instinct to shy away from scents that are for both men and women. It has notes that I like, but I am wondering what all of your thoughts are. I am looking for more an everyday wear.
