Swiss Arabian Oud Comparison

I have been asked a few times privately to do a comparison of Oud 01 and Oud 07 both are beautiful underrated Niche Quality fragrances. Here is what I found.

Oud 01

What it smells like: Starts with sweet raspberry and green violet leaves, has a warm touch of cumin and cardamom, then moves into a rosy floral heart (Turkish rose, lily-of-the-valley), and finishes with amber, leather and oud.

Vibe & wearability: Elegant, refined—a modern take on oud. Good for warmer seasons and daytime wear.

Pros: Has a fruity‐floral opening that makes the oud feel approachable.

Cons: If you prefer a heavy, dark, very smoky oud, this might feel lighter than expected.

Oud 07

What it smells like: Opens with saffron and rose, then rich heart notes of praline, akigalawood and white amber combining with oud, and finishes with vanilla and musk.

Vibe & wearability: Bold, gourmand and opulent. Best for cooler weather or evening wear when you want something more dramatic.

Pros: Rich, statement scent that draws attention and feels luxurious.

Cons: The sweetness and richness may be too heavy for warmer days or if you like subtle fragrances.

Which to pick?

Go for Oud 01 if you want something more wearable every day, lighter, yet still sophisticated.
Choose Oud 07 if you’re after something luxurious and bold for evenings or cooler months.
